Jimmy’s long-time friend and corporate attorney, Russel graduated from York University in 2004 where he made the Dean’s list. He went on to receive his law degree in 2008 from the University of Western Ontario and was called to the bar the following year. In 2019 he was a recipient of the Lexpert Rising Stars Award which celebrates Canada’s leading lawyers under 40. Russel is currently a partner in a major Canadian firm whose specialty is mergers and acquisitions.
